This is a tool that will let you conduct WHOIS queries on a large number of domain names at a time.
DomainChecker is a domain name checker which uses WHOIS queries. If you wanted to find out the domain names which has been taken, are free or expired for all the available legal domain name extensions, this tool can help. There are several different options in which you can submit/generate a range of domain names to be checked. It can search the web using keywords of your choice, generate domains based on keywords too. It is possible to import a list of domains through a file. Snapnames.com and Pool.com have standardized file formats that can be used to extract file names from. Misspelled domain names also can be generated by this tool. This program uses simultaneous connections to speed up the search. The developers claim that the tool will search even 100,000 names quickly and easily.
The program uses a very large database that includes most generic top level domain names or the gTLDs. This data base also includes data on country code TLD’s. The database can be edited to include any new extensions announced. It is also possible that you may want to add a particular WHOIS server that is not included in the tool. The status and the ownership information can be exported in CSV, XML, HTML or TXT formats based on your choice. Filters and settings make the search very focused. But, you will need to be knowledgeable about the stuff and that may take some time. The interface is simple and straightforward. Overall, this is a very useful tool.
